Joe E. Gibson, Jr., DDS, MS earned his degrees at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tennessee Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Tennessee Dental Association, and Second District Dental Society, and he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Gibson has been practicing in Morristown, TN since 1987. He is an Invisalign Certified Provider and is experienced in all phases of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, including adults and children, surgical orthodontics and TMD. Dr. Gibson has been published in the "Journal of Clinical Orthodontics" and "American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics." He lectures on the Dolphin practice management software and imaging system.
Dr. Gibson enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of his patients and their families. He finds helping patients understand and achieve their orthodontic goals to be a very rewarding experience. Dr. Gibson and wife Kathy have three children – Chip, Ben and Katelyn. He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Morristown. He is a native of Morristown, TN. When not working, Dr. Gibson enjoys golf, aviation, boating, 4-wheeling, and Boy Scouts.
